It's possible that I may have gone a bit far with the whole hidden veg thing here but I know some parents really struggle to get a single serve past the lips of their little angels.

Seriously, you can't taste what lurks within. As far as the kids know, it’s just a yummy, chocolatey treat. I swear, it doesn't taste the slightest bit healthy.
Chocolate Slice (with hidden veg...shhh)
120g dark muscovado or brown sugar (½ cup tightly packed)
Pinch of salt
35g cocoa powder (⅓ cup)
100g beetroot/carrot and/or sweet potato *steamed until just tender, peeled and grated
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
37g self raising flour (¼ cup)
37g plain flour (¼ cup)
•Preheat oven to 180°C
•Melt Butter in a medium bowl or jug.
•Stir in sugar until completely dissolved.
•Mix in all other ingredients thoroughly.
•Pour mixture into a lined slice tin and bake for 25 minutes
